Draws sell out fast so be sure to guarantee your ticket by purchasing all draws in advance!

Use of Lottery Proceeds
Our Lottery funds can only be used for “Direct Delivery of Service”. As such, these funds allow for the purchase of items that directly benefit all residents of OFRA. See below for a list of items purchased through our lottery fundraising.
WE GOT THE BUS!
The OFRA received approval by the City of Sault Ste. Marie Lottery Office to use lottery funds to purchase a brand New Wheelchair Accessible Bus for the residents of OFRA. This new bus is valued at approximately $150,000. With proceeds from various 50/50 draws, penny raffles, our Christmas Draws and our annual Harvest Fest Draws, OFRA has been able to purchase several Recreational Therapy equipment and assistive devices for our residents over the years.
As of January 2026, lottery earnings have reached over $320,000! The following items have been purchased for our residents through our lottery funds since 2015:
- Wheelchair Accessible Bus
- Two SpaTherapy Tubs for MKK Long-term Care
- A Complete Sound System for Recreation Therapy
- Several Multi-Sensory Recreation Therapy Items, Equipment, and Games
- Falls Prevention devices (11 of various types)
- 2 Apple iPad Air 2’s with Lifeproof Cases
- Large Exercise Equipment – 15 units such as stationary bikes, elliptical, treadmills etc.
- 4 Transfer Wheelchairs
- 5 MiAlert Paging Units with pendants
- 2 Maxi Move Lifts and extra lift batteries
- 4 Amputee Slings
- 2 Air Flow Mattresses for Palliative Care
- Sonshine Songbooks
- Indoor Curling Set
- Multiple Montessori Supplies
